Candidate registration periods are May 1 to September 22, 2026 for head of council, and June 30 to September 22, 2026 for councillor. Public notice reminding residents that a Shingles Pass is required before disposing of shingles at the landfill. Due to recent wind damage to roofs across the municipality, residents may need to dispose of roofing materials. Current disposal fees are $85.00 for a small load and $175.00 for a large load. Passes must be purchased prior to bringing shingles to the landfill. These fees help cover the costs of handling and disposal.

A notice from the Municipality of Two Borders regarding the proper disposal of empty agricultural jugs. Residents are reminded not to place empty ag jugs in community garbage or recycling dumpsters, as these bins are for household waste and recycling only. Agricultural Retail Operations provide collection programs for proper recycling and disposal. The notice advises that continued contamination of community dumpsters could result in the discontinuation of service and thanks residents for their cooperation.

Melita Clinic Schedule – June The image provides the June schedule for the Melita Clinic. Clinic hours are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and appointments are required. A Nurse Practitioner is on-site and can provide services including: Complete assessments and physical exams, including Pap tests and prenatal care Diagnosis and management of common illnesses and chronic conditions Prescribing medications Ordering diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs Minor procedures including suturing, biopsies, and wart or mole removal Referrals to other healthcare providers, including specialists A Nurse is also on-site and can provide: Wound care Immunizations Baby checks Ear flushes Suture removal Clinic hours vary throughout June and include daytime and evening appointments, generally 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and one 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. clinic day.
